    There are some problems.
    The life scanner on the top deck breaks the time dilation field mechanics.The effect of the black hole gravity on the signal transmitted up the ship to the scanner are ignored. (Perhaps there's a quantum entanglement intranet on board?) Ok same goes for the patients coming up in the lift which causes the blue guy to start shooting...
    How does Bill survive that hole shot in her. Assuming there's no actual percussive effect (i.e. there's no ballistic displacement) and there's a cauterising effect in the internal wound surfaces which deals with the failure to blow the body into pieces. The loss of blood pressure would cause instant unconscusness. the loss of a spine would cause collapse of the rib cage and head and shoulders.
    It's hot. And the pain takes away the taste of the tea.
